How the tools handle your information
What happens to the information you enter, copy, download, or print while using these tools.
You should know what happens to the information you enter into a password tool. Here is the short version: the tools are designed to work in your browser, and Password Generator Plus does not keep a history of your results.
What happens to the information you enter
Most tools do their work in your browser on passwordgeneratorplus.com. The site does not save a history of the passwords, text, or other values you enter. Copying, downloading, and printing happen only when you choose those actions. Keep in mind that anything running in your browser, including an extension, may be able to read what is on the page.
Check the address before entering anything sensitive, keep your browser and device updated, and use made-up information when you only need an example. Selecting Clear removes the current result from the page, but it cannot remove copies saved elsewhere.
Remember where you save or share a result
A result may remain in your clipboard history, screenshots, printed pages, a downloaded file, or another app after you leave the site. Clearing the page cannot erase those copies.
Save passwords in a password manager when you can. If you put a result in your Downloads folder or print it, keep it private and remove copies you no longer need.
