This is an estimate, not a guarantee. A reused or shared password can still put an account at risk.

Rates the Wi-Fi password, not the security of the network.

Anyone with the QR code may be able to join. WEP is legacy and unsafe; open networks have no password. Raw 64-digit PSKs may not scan on every device. Downloads and printed cards remain after Clear.

QUICK START

Make a guest card so visitors can scan instead of typing the network name and password.

  1. Enter the exact network name and choose its security type. Add the existing password unless the network is open.
  2. Create the QR code.
  3. Download or print the card for people you want to give access to.

The code contains your network credentials. Treat it like the password itself and use a guest network when possible.

How it works

Make joining a guest network easier

Enter the exact SSID, choose WPA/WPA2 Personal, legacy WEP or an open network, and set the hidden-network flag if needed. Generation is explicit and local, with black modules, a white background and a four-module quiet zone.

Download a PNG or SVG, or print a guest card from the tool. Showing the password as text is optional and off by default, but the QR code itself contains the credentials. Test the card with the phones and network your guests will use.
